Frequently asked questions

Please reach us at hello@healingoftroy.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yoga Alliance is the leading international organization that sets educational and ethical standards for yoga teachers and schools. Completing a Yoga Alliance–certified program (RYT 200 or 300) means your training meets rigorous global standards, and you’ll be eligible to register as a certified yoga teacher—recognized at studios, retreats, and wellness organizations worldwide.

Fascia release focuses on the body’s connective tissue system—the web that holds everything together. Unlike traditional stretching, it uses gentle pressure, sustained holds, and subtle movements to release deep restrictions and increase mobility, circulation, and emotional flow. Elizabeth weaves this into postures, breathwork, and assisted bodywork.

Functional nutrition looks at how food supports your body’s specific needs, including digestion, energy, focus, and emotional balance. Elizabeth brings in practical, body-aware tools that help you understand how to nourish your system in alignment with your practice—not as a diet, but as a deeper relationship with food.

Chinese Meridian Theory maps the flow of energy (Qi) through the body, affecting everything from organ function to emotional wellbeing. Elizabeth incorporates this into postures, acupressure points, and breathwork to help you balance energy, deepen your awareness, and teach from a more intuitive place.
